Do you love Nutella?! If you answered yes then you’re in the right place! My inspiration for this tart comes from one of my very best friends who absolutely LOVES Nutella, like so many of us! I wanted to make something that is super easy, quick and tastes SO delicious – this chocolate tart definitely ticks all of those boxes.
The well known chocolatey hazelnut flavour really shines through in the smooth and creamy filling and then paired with the buttery biscuit base – so heavenly ❤ The tart is light and just the right amount of chocolately goodness that you almost don’t feel bad about going back for a second slice!
If you’re looking for an easy dessert to make this Valentines or for any special occasion then you can’t go wrong with this Nutella Chocolate Tart! NO BAKING required, just enough time to chill to perfection before devouring the whole tart 🙂
250g digestive biscuits
100g unsalted butter
3tbsp maple syrup
1tbsp icing sugar
1sp vanilla extract
284ml (1 carton) double cream
1 – Lightly grease an 8 inch tart tin, if you have a loose bottomed one that’s great if not don’t worry!
2 – Crush the biscuits in a food processor and set aside. Melt the butter and syrup in the microwave and add to the biscuit crumb. Stir until combined and it starts to combine.
3 – Line the tin with the biscuit mix to form a case. You want to make sure the case is at least 1/2cm thick because when you release it you want it to stay intact. I like quite a thick buttery base but this is personal choice!
4 – Warm the Nutella so it has a dropping consistency. Sieve in the icing sugar and stir well.
5 – Whisk the cream with the vanilla extract until it just holds its shape. Fold in the Nutella mix gently so just combined.
6 – Pour the chocolate mix into the tart case and chill for 2 hours.
7 – Decorate with cream and hazelnuts or leave just the tart in all it’s glory.
I absolutely love this Nutella Chocolate Tart [No Bake] and I really hope you do as well 🙂
