Puff Pastry Sausage Rolls – Super quick and easy – scrummy puff pastry wrapped cocktail sausages!
I posted the recipe for these delish puff pastry sausage rolls on Instagram just in time for New Year but I thought I’d write it up on here as well as I love them so much! ❤
I was feeling a little lazy post Christmas and these cute little sausage rolls were a perfect quick snack fix! I still have some pastry left so I will definitely be making more of these to keep me going through the January blues!
The pastry is store bought, but I do sometimes think that its just as good and saves soooo much time – and I did say I was being lazy 😉
So here goes – the quickest sausage roll recipe ever!! Well, maybe …
1 sheet of pre-made puff pastry
24 cocktail sausages (uncooked)
1 egg, beaten
1 – Preheat the oven to 180C. Remove the packaging from the pastry and cut into 4 strips lengthways. Cut each strip into 3 squares, and then halve the squares to make triangles, you should have 24 triangles.
2 – Roll a sausage up in the pastry triangle, start at one corner and roll up so it looks like they have blankets on. Keep doing this for all the sausages, and then brush the tops with beaten egg and season on top. Bake for 15 minutes … and enjoy!!
