Firstly, Happy New Year Everyone!
I’ve haven’t posted for a little while now but I have returned to the blogging world with some exciting news. Yes, it really is exciting. Quite a while ago I submitted my recipe for Triple Chocolate Cookies to Take a Break’s ‘my favourite recipes’ magazine and it turns out that they liked it enough to publish the recipe in their New Year issue! I was pretty shocked when I received the letter in the post as it turns out the email notification had made its’ way into my junk folder. *Memo to self to check junk folder more often*
It’s a lovely little recipe magazine that I pick up when I spy it in the supermarket or usually when I’m catching the train and need some baking inspiration to fill my time with. Anyone can submit their own recipe to the magazine and if they like it you’ll appear alongside your recipe in print, which is pretty incredible for me. I am super happy that my recipe made it into the magazine, it’s definitely inspired and motivated me to keep sharing my recipes online with the lovely baking community. I’ve always loved to bake and create recipes for friends and family to enjoy so this is just an added bonus for me.
Here’s a snapshot of the magazine page featuring my recipe, ahhhh I don’t think I have any more words to tell you how excited I am about this. It might seem minor but for me it’s huge!
